About the role

Seasoned analytics leader responsible for driving data-informed decisions, leading a distributed data science team, shaping product strategy with data insights, and partnering with product and business teams to build scalable infrastructure at Meta.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire, lead and grow a distributed team of data scientists and data science leaders across North America
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to develop data-informed strategies for growing and improving product offerings
  • Contribute to long-term technical vision and strategy, methods and metrics to improve product quality and efficiency at scale
  • Lead development and communication of product area insights and recommended action items with Meta Analytics leadership

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience managing analytics teams, collaborating with Product and Infrastructure teams, and guiding data-influenced product and business planning, prioritization and strategy development
  • Experience hiring, retaining, and scaling geographically dispersed, high-performing teams
  • Proven ability to influence strategy and drive change across org boundaries through clear, data-driven communication
  • Intellectual curiosity, drive, and decisiveness in ambiguous environments
  • Experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functionally
  • Effective communication skills
