Senior Software Engineer - Ambient
About the role
Senior backend-focused software engineer role on Commure’s Ambient Scribe team, building Ambient AI healthcare solutions and scaling infrastructure for large health systems. You’ll work across the software stack using Python-based frameworks and collaborate directly with customers.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the most advanced healthcare platform in the country
- Help scale infrastructure that supports the largest health systems in the country
- Be a part of a fast-paced team that celebrates fast execution and decisions
- Work across the entire software stack
- Work with a stack that includes Python, Flask, Django, FastAPI, and other frameworks
- Work directly with customers to solve their issues daily
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience
- 3+ years of professional software development industry experience
- Preferred: Strong Backend Programming Skills
- Preferred: Experience in environments where you ship quickly (fast-paced)
- General Understanding of Containers and Cloud (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building production environments (alerting and reporting, metrics tracking, software reliability engineering)
- Great product sense
- Attention to detail around user experience and customer needs
- Extremely motivated to grow
- Strong leadership skills
