About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design core product end to end from concept to wireframe to polished UI
  • Own meaningful surfaces of the app
  • Lead research and prototyping
  • Turn ambiguous problems into features for users
  • Collaborate with CEO and existing designer
  • Drive multiple workstreams in parallel while staying hands-on

Qualifications

  • 6+ years as a product designer, with at least 2 in a senior or lead role at a high-growth consumer app or startup
  • Portfolio of consumer mobile apps with measurable impact on key metrics
  • Comfort designing alongside AI/ML capabilities (voice, speech, LLMs)
  • Strong product instincts and ability to articulate design decisions with rationale
  • Operationally sharp and hands-on in execution
  • Startup-native mindset: scrappy, fast, resourceful, shipped impact
  • Based in New York or willing to relocate
