About the role

Role for an Experienced Data Analyst within Voodoo's Ad-Network, focusing on end-to-end data projects, monitoring diagnostic events, building pipelines and dashboards, and supporting A/B testing and production deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Work on end-to-end data projects with the Ad Experience squad to improve ad delivery quality, reduce ad-load and rendering failures, and maintain a high data quality.
  • Monitor SDK diagnostic events and build alerting, anomaly detection and root-cause analyses on top of the Ad Experience datasets.
  • Build data collection and transformation pipelines, and actionable dashboards.
  • Analyze large, complex data sets with billions of events representing the behaviour of mobile game players and of our ad network to investigate ad-quality regressions, attribution discrepancies and SDK rollouts.
  • Design solutions from scratch, iterate quickly, create POCs, and deploy to production rapidly.
  • Occasionally leverage Python skills and Statistics skills to support A/B tests on ad-experience changes

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience in analytical roles, ideally within web or mobile, tech or ad tech industries.
  • High SQL proficiency with a proven track record of production-ready pipelines for large data sets.
  • Solid ETL development experience.
  • Solid experience with DBT.
  • Practical experience with Tableau or another standard dashboard platform; ability to create company-wide dashboards.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models (advantageous).
  • Development skills in Python (advantageous).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing development time and rapid results.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with ownership and innovative ideas.
  • BA/B.Sc degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economy, or other quantitative fields (mandatory).
