About the role

Senior leadership role defining and executing the global manufacturing test strategy for high-volume, complex electro-mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems across Anduril’s international manufacturing footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition and execution of a comprehensive global manufacturing test strategy, ensuring scalability and operational excellence from pre-production to mass production across international sites.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to a global engineering team, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate strategic visions and technical roadmaps to senior leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and global partners.
  • Drive innovation in test methodologies and infrastructure, focusing on automation, standardization, and operational streamlining for complex assemblies and propulsion technologies.
  • Design, procure, and implement test infrastructure and equipment with cost-benefit optimization and ROI consideration.
  • Collaborate with R&D, product development, and manufacturing to integrate design-for-testability early in the product lifecycle.
  • Champion initiatives to improve safety, reduce costs, enhance quality, and boost productivity across testing operations.
  • Establish data analytics frameworks and reporting to support strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Implement training, documentation, and maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and knowledge transfer across the global footprint.
  • Act as the technical authority and strategic advisor for all manufacturing test matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing test engineering with global scale experience.
  • Proven expertise in testing complex electro-mechanical assemblies, advanced electrical systems, and propulsion technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire large engineering teams.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large departmental budgets and strategic capital expenditures.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and reliability engineering in high-volume environments.
  • Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of non-conforming hardware and process deviations.
  • Familiarity with PLM, MES, and TES systems.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
