About the role

Leader of the Product Operations team in India, driving architectural and technical execution for an agent-first, AI-powered marketplace. Focused on transitioning workflows to intent-driven delegation, building an autonomous agentic layer, and implementing hyper-automation and marketplace intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Define the roadmap for transitioning from manual workflows to intent-driven delegation.
  • Oversee the design of the 'Agentic Layer'—middleware translating user intent into marketplace actions.
  • Ensure operations are programmatic and self-healing.
  • Lead a hands-on Strike Team to prototype high-stakes automations using Python/TypeScript.
  • Develop Reasoning-as-a-Service to determine where LLMs are needed vs. deterministic logic.
  • Build automated systems for liquidity balancing and real-time negotiation.
  • Develop telemetry and data infrastructure to debug an agentic world and diagnose failures.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, or Engineering Leadership (at least 4 years in a leadership role).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
  • Experience with AI-native development environments and building with LLM APIs.
  • Proven track record in high-frequency marketplaces with real-time matching (e.g., rides, delivery, freelance).
  • Demonstrable agents or autonomous workflows in GitHub or portfolio (not just GPT wrappers).
