About the role
Own trust, security, incident communications, and product launch communications for Lovable. Build and execute the external narrative around security, privacy, reliability, platform safety, and product launches; manage media relations, analyst connections, and technical influencer outreach; partner with CTO and product leadership to shape messaging and positioning across earned media, new media channels, and communities.
Responsibilities
- Own trust, security, and incident communications and manage external response with cross-functional team.
- Lead product launch communications and develop earned media strategy, including Substacks, podcasts, and non-traditional channels; shape positioning and create materials; build a repeatable launch engine.
- Turn journalists and creators into builders by facilitating hands-on product experiences for media and influencers.
- Be the comms partner to our CTO and product leadership; prepare leaders for media, conferences, and podcasts; help them become recognized voices in the category.
- Own product-level partner integration communications; coordinate with product marketing and partnerships to shape narrative.
- Build analyst and technical influencer relationships; ensure Lovable appears in relevant reports and conversations.
- Ensure product news travels beyond traditional media to Substacks, podcasts, technical creators, and communities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in communications, including product launches and trust or incident communications at a technology company.
- Experience running launch processes, managing incident response, and building media relationships in the tech ecosystem.
- Technically fluent with genuine curiosity about the product; able to understand software architecture and translate it for reporters/analysts.
- Strong media relationships in tech and AI ecosystems; ability to secure coverage and build networks with reporters, podcasters, and analysts.
- Clear, concise, technical writing that is accessible; ability to connect product stories to broader narratives.
- Hands-on, agile, low-ego approach; able to draft materials, build media lists, coordinate launch timelines, and prep spokespeople.
