About the role
Front-end software engineer role focused on Palantir’s Foundry and AIP platform technologies and domain-specific defense applications, blending modern web technologies with backend services in a fast-moving, customer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Owning and delivering user-facing feature additions or enhancements on defense applications
- Collaborating with customers and forward-deployed engineers to design rapid-value solutions
- Transitioning from mentee to mentor, building unique expertise in specific applications and features
- Leveraging Palantir’s data modeling and AI platforms to create domain-specific workflows and interfaces
- Working with a flexible tech stack to implement frontend features using common tools such as React, Maplibre/Three.js, Redux, Conjure, and OSDK
- Engaging in cross-team collaboration to provide reusable tools for cross-app messaging, live data streaming, and access control
Qualifications
- 2+ years of frontend software engineering experience
- Strong frontend coding skills with proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of how web technologies work
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent understanding of algorithms, performance, and systems design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance
