Designer role at Terra API focused on creating visually stunning, user-centered design across UI/UX for health data infrastructure and products.

Responsibilities

  • You show and execute exceptional taste: meticulously refine every interaction detail to create visually stunning, seamless designs.
  • You continuously raise the bar for visual design with craft, typography, hierarchy, spacing, interaction design, and brand consistency.
  • You are obsessed with users and design delightful experiences informed by user insights.
  • Design for Impact & Speed: influence growth through design, shipping quickly while maintaining high-quality craft.
  • You are an AI native: prototypes in code/LLMs, create interactive prototypes, collaborate with engineering to production.
  • Experiment and Lead Innovation: redefine how agents and developers interact with complex APIs and wearable data to simplify workflows.
  • Own the Design Cycle: lead the entire design process, push features forward, pixel-perfect live features.
  • Hands-On & Data-Driven: autonomous, dive into feedback and data insights to identify friction points, iterate, and measure outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience 3+ years in design (UX/UI).
  • Excellent visual design skills with strong typography and interaction design.
  • Hybrid design skills combining UX and UI to simplify complex workflows.
  • Curiosity, autonomy, and ability to solve problems independently.
  • Engineering savviness and understanding of software engineering workflows.
