About the role

CNC Machinist role focused on setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines (up to 5-axis mills and 6-axis lathes) for Starlink production, with responsibilities across drilling, tapping, milling and turning, maintaining tight tolerances on various materials.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) up to 5 Axis mills and 6 axis lathes
  • Carrying out drilling, tapping, milling and turning
  • Completing machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
  • Machining complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials
  • Material prep, deburring, hauling chips, oiling machines, sweeping up, and assisting in organizational tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 3+ years of experience in the setup and operation of CNC machines
  • G-code experience
