About the role

Lead the banking practice at Faculty, defining go-to-market strategy, building senior banking relationships, and delivering large-scale AI transformation programmes across retail, commercial, and corporate banking.

Responsibilities

  • Leading complex AI transformation programmes for major banking clients, from strategy formation to AI software delivery
  • Building trusted, long-term relationships with C-suite banking leaders, advising on AI-driven revenue growth, operational efficiency, risk management, and customer loyalty
  • Generating sales and revenue by shaping software design, compelling commercial pitches, and delivering compelling demos
  • Elevating Faculty’s industry profile through differentiated banking propositions and industry engagement
  • Ensuring successful delivery of a portfolio of client work across the sector by guiding multidisciplinary teams and maintaining executive confidence
  • Mentoring and developing colleagues through line management and reinforcing Faculty’s Principles and culture

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of banking, with preference for corporate and business banking experience
  • Passion for applying AI to banking outcomes
  • Distinct point of view on AI adoption in banks
  • Experience leading large, complex transformation programmes, involving data/AI/technology and organisational change, for banks or as a consultant
  • Commercially minded with revenue responsibility and ability to shape opportunities and win work
  • Compelling communicator with ability to explain complex technologies to senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams, and fostering an inclusive, rigorous culture
  • Academic or professional grounding in finance, economics, or a related field
