About the role

Lead the financial operations for MongoDB's cloud marketplace (AWS, Azure, GCP) as a key leader in the Global Order-to-Cash organization. Own AR lifecycle, cash reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate billing, revenue integrity, and scalable processes as marketplace volumes grow. Based in Gurugram.

Responsibilities

  • Marketplace Operations Leadership: Manage MongoDB’s cloud marketplace transactions across AWS, Azure, and GCP and ensure seamless integration between partner portals and internal finance systems
  • Accounts Receivable Supervision: Oversee the AR lifecycle for the marketplace portfolio, including invoice accuracy, aging monitoring, and daily payout reconciliations against recognized revenue
  • Lead end-to-end AR lifecycle management: Oversee invoice accuracy, monitor aging, drive proactive collections, meet cash targets, participate in month-end close and reporting
  • Cash Application & Reconciliation Excellence: Ensure timely application of receipts, daily cash reconciliation, minimize unapplied cash, resolve remittance discrepancies, drive automation for scale
  • Strategic Partner Engagement: Serve as primary Finance liaison for Cloud Partners to resolve discrepancies timely
  • Process Standardization: Evolve Order-to-Cash workflows, identify bottlenecks, implement automated solutions, own operational readiness
  • Team Mentorship & Management: Lead and develop a high-performing AR team in India, provide technical guidance, conduct performance reviews, foster Customer Success culture in Finance
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Marketplace Operations, Marketplace Billing, and Customer Success to ensure smooth billing journeys and revenue visibility
  • SOX & Audit: Ensure SOX controls adherence, support Audit requirements, monitor and adjust processes as needed

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years in Accounts Receivable or Revenue Operations
  • 4+ years in a leadership role within a high-growth GCC or SaaS environment
  • Advanced proficiency in NetSuite (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM)
  • Hands-on experience with automated collections tools and reporting
  • Expert Excel skills (data manipulation, Power Query, complex reconciliations)
  • Deep understanding of hyperscaler billing dynamics (AWS, Azure, GCP) including payout reports, net vs. gross revenue, and fee structures
  • Analytical rigor with ability to identify root causes in multi-currency datasets
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) across US and EMEA time zones
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and SOX controls related to the Order-to-Cash cycle
