About the role

Independent Contractor project to collect native Russian speech data for building natural voice AI systems. Participants read and record short scripted prompts in Russian using the Appen Mobile app for 150 prompts over about 2 hours, on a flexible, remote basis within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Record 150 short, scripted voice prompts in Russian using the Appen Mobile app on a smartphone.
  • Read prompts clearly and naturally to produce high-quality audio for speech recognition models.
  • Follow recording guidelines to meet required quality standards.
  • Complete entire session (150 prompts) or receive proportional payment if fewer prompts are assigned.

Qualifications

  • Native speaker of Russian
  • Currently residing in United States
  • 18 years old or above
  • Smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile app

Skills

Required:Native fluency in RussianSmartphone operation
