About the role

Independent Contractor role for Project Morava to collect high-quality Vietnamese speech data to train and evaluate speech recognition models. Participants read and record short, scripted prompts via the Appen Mobile app on a smartphone.

Responsibilities

  • Record 150 short, scripted voice prompts in Vietnamese using the Appen Mobile app on a smartphone.
  • Read prompts clearly and naturally to produce high-quality audio.
  • Follow provided guidelines to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Native Vietnamese speaker
  • Residing in United States
  • 18 years or older
  • Smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile app

Skills

Required:Fluency in VietnameseClear speaking ability
