About the role

Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) work directly with customers to understand problems and design/implement data-driven solutions using Palantir platforms, often in on-site settings with large-scale data and high-stakes projects for government and critical operations.

Responsibilities

  • Work in small teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
  • Discuss architecture with fellow engineers, wrangle massive-scale data, code a custom web app, speak with customer executives, and establish team strategy.

Qualifications

  • Active Full Scope Poly level US security clearance.
  • Engineering background (preferred: Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science).
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar).
