Strategic Operations Manager, Accounts
About the role
Remote role focusing on Revenue-Cycle Management within Commure's Operations team. Own end-to-end client onboarding, drive operational metrics, and scale processes to support 5-10x growth in the customer base. High-visibility, high-autonomy role with cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Billing, Launcher, Account Management, and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive client growth through operational optimization and new growth initiatives
- Drive operational metrics (process throughput, defect rate, etc.)
- Focus on 80% account management and 20% on process improvement/cross-functional initiatives
- Own day-to-day management of accounts, prioritize and resolve escalations, identify opportunities to improve processes
- Develop and standardize internal processes, reporting, training and documentation as we scale our customer base by 5-10x over the coming 12 months
- Ensure efficient and timely execution of internal operations projects
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Billing, Launcher, Account Management, and other Operations teams
- Contribute to design and implementation of scalable systems and processes
- Break down complex business problems and own execution and outcomes
- Understand the business to proactively solve emerging problems
- Act as primary contact for 12+ accounts representing $1M+ in ARR
- Effectively manage client relationships to maximize retention
- Travel 10-20% may be required
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or operations at a fast-paced SaaS tech company
- Experience with SQL + Excel
- Energized by working with customers and delivering great customer experience
- Expertise in project management with multi-project deployment in fast-paced environments
- Strong pursuit of truth, questioning, and understanding customer requests
- Project confidence to lead client meetings and discuss difficult subjects
- Comfort with autonomous work environments and prioritization under blockers
- Demonstrated drive, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and track record of success
- Commitment to delivering customer value by understanding use cases and aligning with best practices
- Experience cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and engineering teams
- Proficiency in documenting and developing best practices for Implementation team
- Experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) space and/or prior startup experience is a bonus
