About the role

Remote, full-time role focused on designing and shipping self-running agent loops and multi-agent swarms, with verification, memory, and observability. You will own production-grade agent systems in TypeScript/Node.js deployed to AWS, collaborating with humans at decision points.

Responsibilities

  • - Design self-running loops with explicit trigger, scope, action, budget, stop condition, and reporting.
  • - Build multi-agent swarms (orchestrator plus specialized agents) with clear ownership and quality gates.
  • - Implement verification first-class: checks, evals, and reviewer agents to catch errors before merge.
  • - Own agent state and memory for long-running tasks and resilience to restarts.
  • - Ship the platform around the agents: APIs, services, queues, integrations in TypeScript/Node, deployed on AWS, with tests, tracing, and observability.
  • - Keep humans in the loop for plan approval, PR reviews, and management of comprehension debt.

Qualifications

  • - 5+ years of production software development with demonstrable shipped impact.
  • - Experience with designing agent loops (stop conditions, budgets, retries, self-verification).
  • - Experience with multi-agent or swarm-like systems (orchestration, shared state, ownership/locking, quality gates).
  • - Fluency with modern agent tooling (Claude Code or Codex style agents, sub-agents, persistent memory, tool and function calling, reason-act-observe loops).
  • - Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, comfortable with a service framework (NestJS or similar) and a typed data layer (Prisma or similar).
  • - Cloud experience with AWS (ECS/Fargate or similar), Docker, and CI/CD.
