About the role

B2B SEO Content Strategist to own and grow organic as a predictable revenue channel for Scale Army. Build and execute strategy across organic, SEO, AEO, social, and other channels to generate pipeline. Esteemed to own the roadmap, targets, and cross-channel collaboration with CRO, paid media, and content teams.

Responsibilities

  • Organic as a Revenue Channel: Build and execute a strategy that makes organic a predictable, measurable contributor to pipeline — not just traffic. Set targets, own the roadmap, and report on what's moving the needle. Blog, SEO, social, webinars, newsletters — the channel mix is yours to define.
  • SEO + AEO — Deep Expertise Required. This is a core part of the role, not a checkbox. Own keyword strategy, content architecture, on-page and off-page SEO, and AI Engine Optimization: structuring content to rank and appear in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and what comes next).
  • Content Strategy and Execution: Set editorial standards and own the content calendar across blog, SEO, and social. Write, review, and edit — lead by doing.
  • Conversion and Channel Alignment: Work with the CRO team to optimize conversion across organic traffic. Partner with paid media to amplify what's working organically. Ensure content is aligned with landing page messaging and funnel goals.
  • AI-Powered Workflows: Use AI daily, build efficient workflows, evaluate tools, and implement what moves the needle.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in content marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior role
  • Proven track record of growing organic traffic and turning it into a pipeline in a B2B or SaaS context
  • Deep, hands-on SEO and AEO expertise — not just familiarity
  • Experience owning and growing multiple organic channels end-to-end
