About the role
Legal Engineers translate legal workflows into Harvey solutions, leading discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding across pre-sales, post-sales, and custom solutions to drive adoption and inform product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Lead collaborative pilot programs and guide prospects through AI-enabled workflows in pre-sales.
- Demonstrate value in real legal use cases and translate prospect feedback into product improvements.
- Build trusted relationships with legal teams across the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to complex custom solutions.
- Design and refine no-code/low-code Harvey in-app solutions (agents, playbooks) for complex processes in collaboration with customers post-sale.
- Translate legal practice needs into actionable feedback for product and engineering, and contribute to customer-facing content.
- Travel approximately 2-3+ times per month for business needs (1-3 days each).
Qualifications
- JD or equivalent legal qualification
- 3+ years of practicing law in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or advising a sophisticated corporate legal team
- Strong understanding of law firms’ workflows, challenges, and demands
- Executive presence and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills (live demos, workshops, strategic conversations)
- Curiosity about AI's potential in legal work with a practical, action-oriented mindset
- Track record partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results and optimize for customer outcomes
- Cross-functional experience (business, ops, compliance, product) and/or sales/customer-facing experience; AI tooling in legal practice is a plus
