About the role

Harvey is hiring Legal Engineers across pre-sales, post-sales, and custom solutions to translate legal workflows into Harvey solutions, lead pilots and onboarding, and influence product direction. Roles involve working with top law firms and legal teams, traveling 2-3+ times per month for business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding alongside Account Executives and Customer Success Managers
  • Translate real legal work into Harvey solutions and design tailored workflows for prospects and customers
  • Guide prospects through AI capabilities and live use cases in pre-sales
  • Build agents, playbooks, and no-code custom solutions in post-sale and with custom solutions teams
  • Gather prospect and customer feedback to inform product roadmap and future releases
  • Collaborate across Legal Engineers (Pre-Sales), Legal Engineers, Product Specialists (Post-Sales), and Legal Engineers, Custom Solutions (Pre- and Post-Sales)
  • Travel 2-3+ times per month for significant business needs (1-3 days per trip)

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • 3+ years of practicing law in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or advising a corporate legal team
  • Strong understanding of law firm workflows and balancing legal risk with business priorities
  • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with legal and business stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (live demos, workshops, customer conversations)
  • Curiosity about AI's potential in legal work with a practical, action-oriented mindset
  • Track record partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results and optimize for customer outcomes
  • Cross-functional experience (business, ops, compliance, product), sales/customer-facing experience, and/or experience using AI tools in legal practice (pluses)
