About the role

Legal Engineers translate legal work into Harvey solutions, leading discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding across the customer lifecycle to drive adoption and inform product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead collaborative pilot programs with Account Executives to demonstrate value in real legal use cases
  • Guide prospects through AI-enabled capabilities and understand their workflows to build tailored solutions
  • Demonstrate Harvey's value through live demos and workshops for leading law firms and legal teams
  • Translate prospect feedback into product and engineering input to shape future releases
  • Post-sale LEPS (Legal Engineer, Product Specialist) build trusted relationships, onboard, enable, and implement agents on real matters
  • LECS (Legal Engineer, Custom Solutions) design bespoke no-code in-app solutions, prototypes, and refine with senior stakeholders, post-sale focus with strategic pre-sale advisory support
  • Collaborate across three roles to ensure governance, credibility, and adoption of Harvey in legal practice

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • 3+ years practicing law in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or advising a sophisticated corporate legal team
  • Strong understanding of law firm workflows, risk vs. business priorities
  • Executive presence and relationship-building with legal/business stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (live demos, workshops, customer conversations)
  • Curiosity about AI's potential in legal work and a practical, action-oriented mindset
  • Track record partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results; willingness to test approaches and optimize for customer outcomes
  • Cross-functional experience (business, ops, compliance, product), sales/customer-facing experience, and/or hands-on AI tools in legal practice is a plus
