About the role

Senior legal engineering role combining legal practice background with product and sales enablement to translate legal workflows into Harvey AI solutions across pre-sales, post-sales, and custom no-code solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Legal Engineer (Pre-Sales): lead pilots, collaborate with Account Executives, understand workflows, tailor solutions, demonstrate value in real use cases, provide prospect feedback for product roadmap.
  • Legal Engineer, Product Specialist (Post-Sales): onboard and enable customers, build agents on real matters, translate needs into product feedback, contribute to practice-area content, uphold credibility as leading AI platform for lawyers.
  • Legal Engineer, Custom Solutions (Pre-Sale and Post-Sale): design bespoke no-code Harvey in-app solutions with stakeholders, prototype against documents, refine with customer teams, post-sale focus with strategic accounts co-designing automation tools.

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • 3+ years of practicing law in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or advising a sophisticated corporate legal team
  • Strong understanding of in-house legal workflows, risk vs business priorities
  • Executive presence and relationship-building with stakeholders at all levels
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (live demos, workshops, customer conversations)
  • Curiosity about AI’s potential to transform legal work, practical solutions mindset
  • Track record partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results
  • Cross-functional experience (business, ops, compliance, product), sales/customer-facing experience, or hands-on AI tools in legal practice (pluses)
