About the role

Legal Engineers translate real legal work into Harvey solutions across pre-sales, post-sales, and custom no-code initiatives. They lead discovery, demos, onboarding, and workflows for lawyers, shaping product direction and ensuring customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding alongside AEs and CSMs
  • Translate legal workflows into Harvey solutions
  • Design, build, and refine solutions that hold up under live in-practice pressure
  • Assist with pilot programs and guide prospects through AI capabilities
  • Gather prospect feedback to influence product roadmap
  • Maintain relationships across pre-sales, post-sales, and custom solutions teams
  • Travel 2-3+ times per month for business needs (1-3 days each)
  • Collaborate with group heads, GCs, and senior stakeholders to tailor resources (LECS) when applicable
  • Assist with onboarding and enablement post-sale (LEPS) and contribute to customer-facing content (Optional) Support advisory pre-sale efforts for strategic accounts

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • 3+ years of practicing law in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or advising a sophisticated corporate legal team
  • Strong understanding of in-house legal workflows, risk vs business priorities
  • Executive presence and relationship-building with legal and business stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (live demos, workshops, customer conversations)
  • Curiosity about AI in legal work with practical, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Track record partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results
  • Cross-functional experience (business, ops, compliance, product), sales/customer-facing experience, and/or hands-on AI tools in legal practice are a plus
