About the role

Legal Engineers translate real legal work into Harvey solutions, leading discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding across the customer lifecycle from initial pilot to complex, custom workflows. They collaborate with AEs, CSMs, and product teams to shape solutions for in-house legal teams and influence the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding alongside Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.
  • Translate legal work into Harvey solutions and tailor workflows for prospects and customers.
  • Demonstrate value in real legal use cases and guide prospects through AI capabilities.
  • Capture prospect feedback to inform product development and future releases.
  • Pre-Sales: engage with leading law firms and legal teams during pre-sales, run pilot programs, and build tailored solutions.
  • Post-Sales: build trusted relationships, onboard and enable customers, and develop agents on real matters while translating needs into product feedback.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design no-code custom Harvey in-app solutions (LECS) and prototypes, often post-sale but sometimes pre-sale.

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • 3+ years of practicing law in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or advising a sophisticated corporate legal team
  • Strong understanding of in-house legal workflows, risk vs business priorities
  • Executive presence and relationship-building with legal and business stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (live demos, workshops, customer conversations)
  • Curiosity about AI's potential in legal work with a practical, action-oriented mindset
  • Track record partnering with senior stakeholders for results and willingness to test approaches for customer outcomes
  • Cross-functional experience and/or sales/customer-facing experience; experience using AI tools in legal practice is a plus
