About the role

Harvey seeking a Legal Engineer - Product Specialist Manager to lead a global post-sales team responsible for customer adoption, retention, expansion, and long-term success. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on engagement, coaching a team of former practicing lawyers who act as trusted advisors to customers, and partnering cross-functionally to drive product evolution and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Legal Engineer – Product Specialists
  • Drive customer adoption, retention, and expansion in coordination with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives
  • Oversee customer engagement strategy across implementation, onboarding, and ongoing enablement
  • Act as a senior escalation point for key accounts and unblock adoption challenges
  • Own team operations, capacity planning, and performance management with data-informed decision making
  • Build scalable processes and enablement materials, including playbooks and training programs
  • Partner cross-functionally with CS, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Applied Legal Research to improve outcomes
  • Influence product strategy and roadmap based on feedback from team and customers
  • Shape Harvey’s customer-facing narrative with Marketing and Enablement to reflect deep legal expertise

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • 5+ years practicing law at a top-tier law firm or in-house with significant client-facing experience
  • 4+ years of direct people-management experience with a track record of building and developing teams
  • Strong executive presence with relationships with senior stakeholders (partners, general counsel, C-suite, legal operations)
  • Deep understanding of legal workflows and challenges faced by modern legal teams
  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles in legal tech or related fields
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and drive strategic initiatives and execution
  • Strong interest in AI and its potential to transform the legal industry
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering is a plus
