About the role

Legal Engineers translate legal workflows into Harvey solutions, leading discovery, demos, trainings, and onboarding to support pre-sales, post-sales, and custom no-code deployments for large law firms and corporate legal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead collaborative pilot programs with Account Executives and prospects
  • Guide prospects through AI capabilities and tailor solutions to real legal use cases
  • Demonstrate value in live legal scenarios and gather feedback to inform product roadmap
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to build agents, playbooks, and custom resources
  • Onboard and enable customers post-sale as LEPS or LECS, translating legal practice needs into actionable feedback
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to refine Harvey based on legal workflow insights
  • Travel 2-3+ times per month for business needs, typically 1-3 days per trip

Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • 3+ years of practicing law in-house, at a top-tier law firm, or advising a sophisticated corporate legal team
  • Strong understanding of law firm workflows, risk vs. business priorities
  • Executive presence and relationship-building with legal and business stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (live demos, workshops, customer conversations)
  • Curiosity about AI's potential to transform legal work; solutions-oriented with bias toward action
  • Track record partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results; experimentation mindset
  • Cross-functional experience (business, ops, compliance, product), sales/customer-facing experience, or hands-on AI tools in legal practice (pluses)
