About the role

Internship focusing on managing Chinese social media, copywriting, localization from English to Chinese, community engagement, and supporting data-driven content strategies for thatgamecompany in Shanghai, China.

Responsibilities

  • Content management: assist in managing domestic mainstream social media accounts to ensure information, videos, and articles are published accurately, timely, and in a规范 manner.
  • Copywriting: write daily social media copy with appropriate, sincere, and engaging language that conveys the studio's voice.
  • Content localization: translate English updates (official news, blogs, developer diaries) into fluent and elegant Chinese to remove language barriers.
  • Community building: engage with players backstage (replying to messages and comments), listen to player feedback, and maintain a friendly, positive community atmosphere.
  • Data support: help organize basic operating data to provide objective reference for content strategy adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Professional background in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism or related field, with solid writing ability.
  • Excellent English reading and translation skills for accurate understanding and faithful translation of English content.
  • Industry awareness of domestic social media trends and audience reading habits.
  • User empathy with TGC brand culture, ability to think from a player perspective with warm communication.
  • Rigorous and meticulous approach to writing and data.
