About the role

Remote, full-time junior software engineer role at MixRank. Open-ended mentorship-focused position with exposure to databases, distributed systems, infrastructure, data analysis, machine learning, and full-stack web development. Primarily Python, Rust, SQL, Javascript/TypeScript, and Nix, with core familiarity in Python, PostgreSQL, Linux, and Git.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a broad set of product areas including databases, distributed systems, infrastructure and tooling, data analysis, machine learning, frontend/backend web development, APIs, data mining, and data modeling.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of professional software experience
  • 5+ years of curiosity exploring computers and programming or technical hobbies
  • Graduated or one or more years remaining in school considered
  • Strong passion for computing and willingness to learn in a mentorship-driven environment
