About the role
Quality Engineering Technician responsible for incoming inspection, containment and resolution of quality issues across manufacturing operations to ensure only qualified materials enter production and to provide data for continuous quality and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own incoming inspection activities and support the identification, containment, and resolution of quality issues across manufacturing operations.
- Maintain timely incoming inspection and material disposition activities to prevent production disruptions.
- Drive containment and escalation of nonconforming materials, ensuring issues are clearly documented and resolved.
- Deliver accurate inspection data and technical findings that enable engineering and supplier quality improvements.
- Support rapid root cause investigations by providing clear problem statements, inspection results, and failure analysis data.
- Maintain inspection equipment, tooling, and calibration records to ensure reliable and repeatable quality assessments.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on quality, manufacturing, or engineering technician experience.
- Experience performing inspections and investigating quality issues in a production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
- Experience using inspection and test equipment such as calipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, or similar tools.
