About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Engineer, Air Dominance & Strike to support rapid development and deployment through data-driven analyses, physics-based modeling, and mission-level simulations. Build analytical artifacts, guide requirements, and quantify how Anduril technology delivers mission success to warfighters.

Responsibilities

  • Employ the scientific method to develop model-driven analysis (and often the models themselves)
  • Develop a deep understanding of the transformational value of Anduril’s platform, autonomy, simulation, and perception products
  • Use our advanced internal M&S capabilities to give our analyses and asymmetric advantage over competitors
  • Use exceptional writing and verbal communication to translate complex analytical findings into clear and compelling summaries for both internal program teams and external customers

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant Science or Engineering field
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • 2+ years of hands-on AFSIM scripting experience (deeper experience highly valued)
  • Proficiency and love of modeling and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Simulink)
  • Demonstrated experience in: Platform MS&A - aero, fuel, and signature modeling; Payload MS&A - radar, EOIR, communications, or weapons payloads
  • Experience with any of the following: Radio frequency (RF), Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Counter Measures (ECM), Electronic Attack (EA), C5ISRT, Counter Targeting
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in written, visual and spoken form to diverse audiences
  • A working knowledge of domains such as OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Long Range Fires
