About the role

Senior Manager responsible for leading a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers to support engineering and production in strategic sourcing, supplier relations, and cross-functional collaboration to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets within Anduril’s Rocket Motor Systems team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals to enable scale, continuity, quality, efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate complex commercial terms to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms.
  • Collaborate with supply chain peers to develop and execute best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, program management, finance, and other leadership to negotiate tradeoffs and resolve problems proactively.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supply chain performance; define and monitor KPIs to track health and drive improvements.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and provide regular management reports on supply chain performance.
  • Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals; hire and develop talent to support rapid team expansion.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks (disruptions, market changes).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8+ years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a supply chain or production-related role focused on complex mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
  • 2+ years experience in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
