About the role

Internship at Palantir providing real-world software engineering experience embedding with customers to tackle high-impact challenges, with two role options: Forward Deployed Software Engineer Intern or Software Engineer Intern.

Responsibilities

  • Build software and deliver customer outcomes.
  • Work on real problems deploying AI-powered solutions, building software platforms, and transforming how organizations operate.
  • FDSE Intern: collaborate with customers, own end-to-end execution on meaningful projects in small, agile teams.
  • Software Engineer Intern: contribute high-quality code to Palantir Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo; join product-focused teams; learn across product areas.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or received a degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science).
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • Hands-on experience applying AI (coursework, projects, internships, or relevant activities).
  • Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility/willingness to obtain one is a plus (USG roles) or not required (other roles).
  • Open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
