About the role

SMT Rework Technician supporting PCBA rework and harness repairs for SpaceX Starlink Production, collaborating with engineering on new products and test rack systems.

Responsibilities

  • Solder and de-solder through hole and SMT components.
  • Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating.
  • Mechanical/electrical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis.
  • Read, interpret and work from drawings as well as from controlled documentation and processes.
  • Self-monitor work progress against area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work.
  • Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 3+ years of mechanical, electrical, and/or PCBA experience.

Skills

Required:Soldering and desolderingReading and interpreting drawings
Nice to have:Conformal coating and coating processesElectro-mechanical assemblyTest setup and executionERP / shop floor software
