About the role

Internship focused on early-career hiring, events, marketing/sourcing, and program ownership to build Etched’s internship and new-grad pipeline in a fast-paced, in-person San Jose environment.

Responsibilities

  • Help execute Etched’s internship and new-grad hiring strategy.
  • Identify exceptional students through universities, technical communities, and unconventional channels.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders on targeted outreach.
  • Plan private events across the country for high-potential students.
  • Build relationships with university clubs, professors, and student leaders.
  • Create memorable experiences that introduce candidates to Etched.
  • Own guest lists, invitations, venues, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Develop campaigns that make Etched stand out to top students.
  • Source candidates through events, referrals, communities, and direct outreach.
  • Create compelling early-career recruiting content.
  • Track event engagement and recruiting conversion.
  • Improve programs as Etched scales.
  • Collaborate across recruiting, marketing, and leadership.
  • Develop sourcing campaigns for hard-to-reach talent.
  • Establish relationships with top university organizations.
  • Measure which events and channels produce the strongest candidates.

Qualifications

  • Experience in recruiting, sourcing, events, marketing, or community building.
  • Strong instincts for identifying and engaging exceptional people.
  • Excellent communication and project-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and comfort in a fast-changing environment.
  • Willingness to travel for events.
