About the role
Full-Stack AI Accounting role building Bea, Balance's AI accountant platform, joining a small founding team to take features from ideation to production and work closely with accountants and customers.
Responsibilities
- Build Bea, the AI accountant, and the platform its accountants use to review outputs.
- Automate workflows, reduce manual effort, and move to higher levels of abstraction.
- Scoping, prototyping, QA, launch, monitoring, and iteration of features.
- Collaborate directly with accountants and customers, shipping features that save time and improve accuracy.
- Ship features end-to-end, from ideation to production, with a focus on adoption and impact.
Qualifications
- Generalist with strong product instincts and comfort with ambiguity
- Experience or interest in AI/harnesses and deploying to production
- Ability to work closely with users and in Slack channels with customers
- 0→1 builder mindset and willingness to own meaningful surface areas of the platform
