About the role

Founding Recruiter responsible for building and owning the end-to-end recruitment engine to hire RL-environments talent, including pipeline, interview process, and collaboration with hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Hire 10-15 technical people in year one, mostly RL-environments Engineers, Strategic Project Leads (SPLs), and Research Engineers
  • Keep median time-to-fill on priority RL-env engineering roles near 30 days from posting to offer accepted
  • Land a 75%+ offer-accept rate, competing with other AI/ML teams and frontier labs
  • Improve ATS pipeline conversions, scorecard-based interviews, a sourcing playbook, and intake-and-debrief cadence with hiring managers
  • Bring in people who perform and stay, and raise Bespoke’s profile in RL-env and data-curation talent through inbound and referrals

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally at a startup or in AI/ML
  • Strong sourcing skills and a warm, always-on network in the AI/engineering talent market (especially RL-env talent)
  • Ability to move fast, operate independently, wear multiple hats, and win candidates with multiple offers
  • Familiarity with AI/ML roles and terminology, especially RL environments, agentic tasks, and ML/infra
  • Ability to use data to improve time-to-fill, offer accept rate, funnel conversion, and source of hire
