About the role

Field Application Engineer based in Korea providing onsite/remote technical support, driving design-in activities, and bridging local customer engineering teams with headquarters for femtoAI.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact to resolve customer issues, including Failure Analysis, debugging, and on-site support; may contribute to customer codebases.
  • Independently prototype new demo systems incorporating customer products and femtoAI hardware/software; prototype experimental software features for customers before official release.
  • Drive technical sales by influencing design wins, reviewing schematics, and providing layout feedback.
  • Provide in-depth product application knowledge including system integration, AI model support, acoustics, and embedded systems.
  • Validate new products, run simulations, and provide feedback on customer applications to headquarters.
  • Create technical training materials, customer reports, and documentation in English and Korean.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years (Senior: 8+ years) of experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry.

Required:TWS/OWS Digital Appliance knowledgePCB prototypingFirmware (C/C++)LanguagesCommunication and client relationship skills
