About the role

Infrastructure Engineer responsible for Kubernetes container orchestration strategy across cloud (GCP) and bare metal deployments, managing cluster lifecycle, GitOps, and IaC to ensure reliable and scalable workloads; collaborates with Edge-Cloud teams and on-prem edge nodes.

Responsibilities

  • Container orchestration across cloud and failover-edge: cluster lifecycle, GitOps, workload reliability.
  • Manage a helm mono-repo and implement Kubernetes best practices in managing dynamic configurations.
  • Partner with the Edge-Cloud Reliability pod on deploying/reconciling workloads to on-prem nodes.

Qualifications

  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Clearance.
  • Mid-level: Kubernetes, containers, GitOps (Flux/Argo or successor), IaC.
  • Comfortable spanning cloud and bare metal environments.
