About the role

Software Engineer on the Mission Software Engineering team solving problems across networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and web front-end to deliver mission-critical capabilities to customers. Emphasizes expedient, scalable, and pragmatic software delivery with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Own the software solutions that are deployed to customers
  • Write code to improve products and scale the mission capability to more customers
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality
  • Build and analyze metrics and dashboards to debug and monitor production systems
  • Triage issues, root cause failures, and drive resolution across teams
  • Write and maintain tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ship safely and quickly
  • Partner with end-users to turn needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints
  • Limited travel required

Qualifications

  • Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
  • At least 2-5+ years of professional experience with TypeScript; experience with Go and Python preferred
  • Experience building and shipping user-facing web interfaces (e.g., React, Vue, or similar modern frontend frameworks)
  • Experience building software solutions involving distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
  • Strong debugging skills across distributed, multi-service systems
  • Strong testing discipline (unit, integration) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong Git skills (branching, rebasing, resolving conflicts)
  • Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
