About the role

COMSEC Analyst responsible for managing COMSEC accounts, key issuance/destruction, self-inspections, and interfacing with customer counterparts to secure SpaceX launch, satellite, and ground systems, while complying with national security requirements in a high-security environment.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and destruction procedures
  • Perform and oversee self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units including the KG-175 suite, KGR-42, and KG-250 suite
  • Prepare COMSEC deliverables such as security plans and key management plans with limited oversight
  • Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present to leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; OR 3+ years of professional experience in COMSEC or a security field in lieu of a degree
  • 1+ years of experience in COMSEC or a security field

Skills

Required:COMSEC / security field experience
Nice to have:CNSSI 4005 & 4001, NCSM Vol. 2, NSA/CSS Manual 3-16
