About the role

Senior leader responsible for Crusoe Cloud’s developer advocacy, acting as the public face to developers, ML engineers, and technical decision-makers. Builds credibility, crafts a cohesive developer narrative, creates content (notably short-form video), engages communities across platforms, and aligns advocacy with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to drive awareness, engagement, and platform adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Public Voice of Crusoe Cloud: serve as a credible face across developer audiences and surface feedback from builders to the company.
  • Develop and own a distinctive point of view on AI infrastructure, GPU compute, model training, and inference.
  • Represent real developer experience back into the company, surfacing builders' loves and frustrations.
  • Content and Short-Form Video: conceive, script, and produce short-form video; build a consistent content engine across formats; hands-on grounding in Crusoe Cloud for credibility.
  • Engagement Strategy, Editorial Calendar, and Narrative: define developer engagement strategy, own cohesive editorial calendar, establish presence in key channels (X, YouTube, Discord, GitHub, Reddit, etc.).
  • Build a feedback loop from community to Product/Engineering/Marketing.
  • Reach and Influence Beyond Developers: translate credibility to architects, economic buyers, and executives; collaborate with Product Marketing and Communications to align messaging.
  • Developer Engagement at Events: represent Crusoe on the show floor, capture developer feedback, generate excitement, explore non-traditional reach methods.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: align with Developer Relations, Product, Engineering, Marketing.
  • Measurement and Impact: define and track metrics for content performance, audience growth, and platform adoption.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in developer relations, developer marketing, technical content creation, or related field with demonstrated impact at scale.
  • Credibility with deeply technical audiences (AI/ML practitioners, cloud infrastructure engineers).
  • Hands-on, current technical fluency on GPU clusters, model training workflows, inference optimization, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of distributed inference and post-training techniques (e.g., fine-tuning, LoRA, quantization, RLHF, model distillation).
  • Ability to carry a single credible narrative across practitioner to executive audiences.
  • Experience creating content that performs, including short-form video for technical audiences.
  • Strong personal point of view and comfort being a public-facing voice on camera and social platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with precision execution; comfortable both setting strategy and shipping content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally AI-native, hyperscale cloud provider, or infrastructure startup.
