About the role

Role focused on writing computer vision code and building ML models for computer vision, updating and scaling ML pipelines, and delivering low-latency, production-grade inference for robotics/warehouse automation at Dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Write computer vision code and build ML models for computer vision.
  • Understand current systems and limitations; bring expertise in CV and ML models.
  • Update and scale ML pipelines to cover more scenarios and improve accuracy.
  • Leverage subfields of semantic segmentation and instance segmentation; implement using platforms like PyTorch, TensorFlow.
  • Work with RGBD datasets and point clouds; apply ML/CV for autonomous vehicles or robotics as relevant.
  • Write optimized code in C++ and Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure to build training and serving pipelines.
  • Develop highly performant models and serving architectures for low-latency inference approaching real time.
  • End-to-end process: data gathering, augmentation, labeling, dataset curation, performance study, model optimization, training, deploying, and troubleshooting in the field.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience with OpenCV and Open3D
  • Experience building, training and deploying production ML models from scratch using PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Strong knowledge of Modern C++ and Python
  • Experience using profilers and debuggers to optimize code
  • Experience building and maintaining production code
  • Experience with serving architectures like NVIDIA Triton, TorchServe and TensorFlow Serving, Flask and others
  • Strong academic background and knowledge of ML and academic papers
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc. and using this infrastructure to create training and serving pipelines
  • Ability to trace and solve problems across interconnected systems, pipelines and applications
  • Experience with Git and modern CI pipelines

Benefits

  • Base pay $160,000 - $200,000 per year
