About the role

Production Engineer - Software Integration focused on ensuring live production reliability, performance, and security by building automation, observability, incident management, and CI/CD optimization, bridging DevOps and Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • System Reliability & Performance: Ensure applications run reliably, efficiently, and securely in live production environments.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automated deployment (CI/CD), testing, and scaling processes.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Build and manage monitoring systems to track application health, performance, and user experience.
  • Incident Management: Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaboration: Work with development, product, and operations teams to improve development processes and product delivery.
  • Code & Architecture: Contribute to architectural decisions, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance within production systems.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong coding skills in relevant languages (C++, Rust, SQL, Nix OS, etc).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, ERP and MES.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
  • Understanding of system architecture, networking, and database management in production environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
