About the role

Frontend-focused software engineer role at Nevis, building the world’s first AI-native wealth management platform. Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to ship features, shape the design system, and deliver high-quality interfaces for financial advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers to build features that look and feel exceptional.
  • Turn complex AI and financial data into interfaces that just make sense.
  • Write clean, tested, reusable code – and help others do the same.
  • Shape our design system and raise the bar for frontend craft.
  • Prototype quickly, learn from feedback, and iterate.
  • Work with backend engineers to integrate APIs and bring data to life.
  • Obsess over performance, accessibility, and the details users notice.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience with TypeScript and understanding of how JavaScript works
  • Extensive experience with React and eagerness to use cutting-edge features
  • Strong focus on component design: composable APIs, clear boundaries, and useful abstractions
  • Understanding of the modern web: browsers, performance, and how to make interfaces feel fast
  • Comfort with modern tooling: Vite, SCSS, component libraries, monorepos
  • Ability to ship features from scratch and get apps live
  • Obsess over craft: clean code, polished UI, and great user experiences
  • Ability to move fast, take ownership, and learn constantly
  • Ability to elevate the team and maintain high standards
  • Willingness to leverage AI to work smarter and solve problems faster
  • Strong communication, fluent in English, comfortable working async
  • Ability to give and receive feedback with honesty and care
