About the role

Partner Manager responsible for building and accelerating fonio's partner channel in the DACH region through hands-on co-selling, partner qualification, and structured account management.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify potential partners in German and English and determine appropriate handling per partner.
  • Lead sales conversations yourself to demonstrate a top-notch sales process to partners and learnings they can apply.
  • Manage existing partners through structured account management, including regular check-ins and identifying upsell opportunities with their existing customers.
  • Drive co-selling with partners and participate in larger customer negotiations.
  • Provide enablement to partners in the initial phase and serve as a point of contact for questions.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in German and English mandatory; Italian, French, or Spanish a plus (beneficial for future scope).
  • Sales background, ideally path SDR → AE; Channel/partner experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on closer mindset: sell directly and train/enable partners simultaneously.
  • High self-discipline, strong sense of responsibility, and drive to prove oneself.
  • Willingness to travel for partner visits and larger negotiations.
