About the role

Internship position in Hardware R&D for robotics, focused on designing and building robotic cells, prototypes, and experimental setups to advance perception, manipulation, and automation in real-world industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robotic cells
  • Build prototypes and test rigs for robotic peripherals (e.g., innovative vacuum grippers)
  • Plan and run experimental trials
  • Contribute to project planning and execution

Qualifications

  • Excellent CAD skills, demonstrated through portfolio projects you can present
  • OR Outstanding academic record—minimum GPA of 1.7 or better on the German scale—in an engineering program at a reputable university
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Solid grasp of technical interrelationships
  • Familiarity with machine design and control engineering
