About the role

Lead Financial Analyst role on the Frontier Systems finance team at Anduril Industries, focusing on end-to-end program financial analysis, strategic partnering with program leadership, and building scalable forecasting and cost-capture processes for product/contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Influence P&L Outcomes: Take end-to-end ownership of program financial analysis and understand drivers to influence them.
  • Be a Strategic Partner: Partner with program leadership and proposals teams on pricing strategy and forecasting, informing decisions on margin, cost, and risk.
  • Tell the Story: Convert monthly forecasts and margin analysis into clear commentary for program and business-line leadership, highlighting relevant trends and risks.
  • Make the Case: Build rigorous business cases behind investments with well-structured models and defensible assumptions.
  • Build for Scale: Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reporting, and cost capture across products and contracts and develop processes/tools to maintain accuracy as the business scales.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance
  • Robust financial modeling and Excel skills with strong quantitative ability
  • Intellectually curious with a drive to uncover the 'why' behind numbers
  • Bias-to-action and ability to fix gaps in process
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast, iterative pace
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to translate financial detail into actionable narrative
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance
