About the role
Edexia is seeking a founding engineer to join as a full-time role with a paid 1-week trial and potential for a full-time offer. The role is part of Edexia’s early-stage engineering team building an AI teacher assistant for grading essays.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and contributing to technical projects during the paid trial
- Collaborating with the CTO and CEO to build and ship features for the AI grading assistant
- Participating in semi-technical and cultural interviews to assess fit and capabilities
- Developing software solutions related to AI agents, grading workflows, and full-stack functionality
- Working with founders and potentially traveling for in-person collaboration if needed
Qualifications
- Any experience level accepted (new grads ok)
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript (as indicated in skills)
- Interest in AI agents and education technology
- Strong problem-solving and coding abilities
- Willingness to relocate or travel for in-person collaboration if required during the trial
