Senior Global Industry Analyst – AML/FCC

About the role

Senior-level role acting as a global subject matter expert in AML/FCC, KYC, CDD, sanctions, fraud prevention, and regulatory risk management. Leads regulatory intelligence, product strategy input, customer advisory, industry engagement, and thought leadership to shape UiPath’s compliance solutions for financial institutions worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company's primary global subject matter expert and spokesperson for AML, FCC, KYC, sanctions compliance, fraud, and financial crime risk management.
  • Monitor and interpret global regulatory developments, emerging financial crime threats, and compliance trends.
  • Analyze regulatory changes and their impact across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide strategic guidance on global regulatory frameworks
  • Develop thought leadership content addressing emerging risks such as digital assets, sanctions evasion, AI-driven financial crime, mule accounts, beneficial ownership transparency, and cross-border financial crime.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and UX teams to influence product vision and roadmap.
  • Translate customer challenges and regulatory requirements into actionable product enhancements.
  • Advise on: KYC and onboarding; Customer Due Diligence (CDD); Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD); Transaction Monitoring; Sanctions Screening; Adverse Media Screening; Customer Risk Rating; Entity Resolution; Case Management; Regulatory Reporting; Fraud and Financial Crime Detection.
  • Help define market requirements and product differentiation strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to global financial institutions, fintechs, payment providers, digital banks, securities firms, insurers, and regulators.
  • Lead executive advisory sessions, customer roundtables, and strategic workshops.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support product innovation.
  • Support strategic accounts and high-value customer engagements.
  • Work with marketing on thought leadership content.
  • Act as a global spokesperson within the AML and compliance community.
  • Deliver keynote presentations, conference sessions, and executive briefings globally.
  • Publish white papers, research reports, blogs, and industry perspectives.
  • Build relationships with analysts, regulators, industry associations, and compliance professionals.
  • Represent the company at major industry events and conferences worldwide.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive market awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Support strategic sales opportunities by providing domain expertise.
  • Contribute to RFP responses, analyst evaluations, competitive intelligence, solution positioning, and executive presentations.
  • Help articulate business value, regulatory impact, and ROI of compliance solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, Risk Management, Compliance, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in AML, FCC, KYC, sanctions compliance, fraud risk, regulatory compliance, or financial crime prevention.
  • Extensive experience with Global banks, Regional banks, Financial institutions, Fintech, Payment providers, Regulatory agencies, Consulting firms, Compliance technology providers.
  • Strong understanding of global AML and FCC regulations across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing product strategy and roadmap development.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to engage senior executives, regulators, compliance leaders, and product teams.
  • Experience leading webinars, industry presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.
