  • Own the order book: statuses current, exceptions escalated, and no silent slips.
  • Work vendor issues to ground: shortages, substitutions, and expedites, with the schedule impact quantified.
  • Keep the data clean in the ERP so planning and finance run on truth.

Qualifications

  • You've been a buyer in a fast-moving supply chain and carried a heavy PO load without drops.
  • You chase confirmations like the schedule depends on it, because it does.
  • You've expedited critical parts through constrained suppliers.
  • Your ERP hygiene is a habit: right dates, right prices, right quantities.
  • You escalate with the facts assembled and a recommendation attached.
